Capabilities
From history to risk-aware recommendations
Lead Time Tracking
Each supplier's lead time is learned from its actual delivery history — not an industry average. Voorcast tracks how it's trending so the reorder window adjusts before the next miss.
Fill Rate & On-Time Delivery
See how often a supplier ships everything ordered and how often it arrives on the promised date. These signals feed directly into stockout-risk scoring.
Supplier Risk Classification
Suppliers are classified by reliability so recommendations widen safety margins for the riskier ones and tighten them for the dependable ones.
Per-Supplier Learning
Every supplier carries its own track record. Voorcast doesn't apply a global default and hope it fits — it adapts to the supplier in front of it.

Supplier-Grouped Risk
Risk that sees the whole supplier, not one SKU
Stockout risk is aggregated by supplier with profit-at-risk, so you can act on the supplier that actually moves the needle — not whichever red SKU surfaced most recently.
- Color-coded risk per supplier
- Profit-at-risk ranking across your portfolio
- Per-supplier reliability feeds the score
Track Record
Each supplier judged on its own history
Lead-time variance, fill rate, on-time delivery, and reliability are computed from this supplier's actual purchase orders in your account. The supplier-detail surfaces feed back into recommendations — wider buffers for late suppliers, tighter ordering for dependable ones.
- Lead-time trend over time
- Fill rate and on-time delivery from received purchase orders
- Reliability drives safety-stock margins

Frequently asked questions
How does Voorcast track supplier reliability?
Lead-time variance, fill rate, and on-time delivery rate are computed continuously from your own Picqer purchase-order history. The signals update as new POs land, so trend shifts surface before they cost you sales.
What does per-supplier learning mean?
Each supplier's risk profile is built from its own behaviour rather than an industry average. A wholesaler that takes six weeks but delivers in full is judged differently from one that takes a week but ships half the SKUs — Voorcast doesn't conflate them.
How does this affect reorder recommendations?
Riskier suppliers get wider safety-stock margins so a missed delivery date is less likely to become a stockout. Dependable suppliers get tighter ordering windows so capital stays out of inventory. The buffer is data-driven per supplier, not a global setting.
Can I override what Voorcast learned about a supplier?
Yes — every learned value accepts a manual override. The override pins the value; the underlying signal continues to update so you can see when reality diverges from what you've set.
What if I've only placed one or two orders with a supplier?
Voorcast flags the supplier as having limited history and is upfront about lower confidence in the numbers. As more purchase orders land, the confidence grows from limited to fully calibrated so you can see how much weight to give the score.
